Baptism or Christening is different from a Thanksgiving Service. Parents bringing their children for Baptism are not only celebrating the arrival of a new baby they are also declaring that they ‘believe and trust in God’ and want their child to be fully part of the Church family.
If you’re thinking of having a Baptism service we’d love to talk to you about it. And Baptism is for all ages. Often people come to faith in their teens or adult life and they are baptised as a sign that this is a new beginning.
